in the Lord
Spiritual disciplines, bible reading, prayer, scripture memory, and journaling are ways we grow in the Lord. We have complied tools online to help aid in this process.
"Spiritual disciplines are provided for out good, not our bondage. They are privileges to be used, not duties to be performed."
The tools include Bible reading plans, a HEAR journaling method, tips for interpreting and understanding the Bible, and free ebooks. Physical copies are available at First Southern.
1 Timothy 4:7-8
"Rather train yourself for godliness; for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also the life to come."
