The church is a group of believers that are working to see
the kingdom of God on Earth as it is in heaven.
The church is made up of many individuals and families who,
under the grace of God, contribute in various ways
to serve the mission of God and the glory of God.
In the church and in all things we need to be open handed before God.
We wish to be a willing, gracious, and generous people of God.
God says that what we treasure is the fixation of our hearts.
Open-handed giving reminds us of who the ultimate provider is,
and sets our hearts to treasure Jesus above all else.
